About Shore Uploader

Every platform re-encodes what you send it. Shore Uploader hands that encoder a file it has almost nothing left to do — so the grade, motion, and grain of what you made survive to the other side. Nothing lost in the crossing.

What we do

Shore improves the delivered quality of video you already own the rights to by optimizing its container structure and metadata ahead of upload. By default it does not re-encode your footage: your resolution, frame content, and audio are preserved, and Shore produces a separate processed copy rather than altering your original. It supports MP4 at both 1080p and 4K.

Why it exists

Publishing platforms compress aggressively on upload, and the more work their encoder has to do, the more of your original quality it throws away. By presenting a clean, well-formed file, Shore leaves the platform's encoder with as little to redo as possible — keeping the result closer to what left your timeline.

How your files are handled

Wherever possible, processing happens entirely in your browser, so the file never leaves your device. When a job runs on our servers instead, it does so for a short window only: the source and its output are deleted after processing, and any remaining output expires within an hour. We do not keep a library of your uploads or use them to train any model. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
