Terms of Service

Draft — review before launch.

Last updated: September 13, 2026

The service

Shore Uploader improves the delivered quality of video you already own the rights to, by optimizing container structure and metadata (colour tags, frame rate, bitrate headroom) ahead of upload. By default this does not re-encode your video; where re-encoding is offered as an explicit option, it is opt-in.

Acceptable use

Don't use Shore to process content you don't have the rights to, content that is illegal, or content intended to abuse, deceive, or harm others. We may refuse service or suspend access for use that violates this policy or abuses the infrastructure (excessive automated load, attempts to bypass rate limits, etc.).

Your content, your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the video you upload: that you hold the necessary rights to it, and that publishing it complies with the rules of whatever platform you upload it to. Shore does not review, endorse, or take responsibility for the content processed through it.

No platform affiliation

Shore Uploader is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, or any other platform mentioned on this site. Platform names are used only to describe compatibility.

No warranty

Platforms change their encoders, delivery ceilings, and acceptance rules without notice, and those changes are outside our control. Shore is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that any given upload will be accepted, processed without error, or preserved in quality by a destination platform.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shore Uploader and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost content, lost time, or lost revenue.

Accounts

Shore currently works without an account. If accounts are introduced in the future, you will be responsible for keeping your credentials secure, and these terms will be updated to cover them before that feature launches.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
