Analytics

Shore uses Umami, a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not sell or share data with third parties. It records aggregate usage (page views, referrers, rough device type) without collecting personally identifiable information.

Cookies

Shore sets one httpOnly device-token cookie. It is used only to apply per-device rate limits on uploads and processing, so the free tier stays fair to everyone. It contains no personal information and is never used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Advertising cookies, if any, are set separately by Google (see below).

IP address and logs

When you make a request, our servers briefly process your IP address to apply rate limits, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. We use it for these operational purposes only, do not link it to an advertising profile ourselves, and do not retain it beyond what is needed for security and abuse prevention.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Shore uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve and measure ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These are third-party cookies set by Google, separate from the device-token cookie described above.

You can review and turn off personalized advertising in your Google Ad Settings, opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info, and read how Google uses advertising cookies in the Google advertising policies.

Your video

Uploaded video is used only to run the requested processing. Depending on the path you use, that happens entirely in your browser (the file never leaves your device), or on our servers for a short window: the source file and its processed output are deleted automatically after processing completes, and any remaining output expires and is deleted no later than one hour after it is ready. We do not keep a library of your uploads, and we do not use your video to train any model.

Selling and sharing of data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or uploaded content. The one exception recognized under some laws (such as the California CCPA/CPRA) is that serving personalized ads shares online identifiers with Google and its advertising partners, which those laws may treat as a "sale" or "share." You can opt out at any time using the controls in the Advertising section above and, where required, the consent choice shown on your first visit.

Children and minimum age

Shore is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. You must be at least 13 to use the service. If you are under 18 (the age of majority in Saudi Arabia), you should use Shore only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights (PDPL / GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live — including under Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), the EU/UK GDPR, or the California CCPA/CPRA — you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because uploaded video is not retained beyond the processing window described above, there is typically nothing left to delete shortly after your job completes. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
