Privacy Policy

Draft — review before launch.

Last updated: September 13, 2026

Analytics

Shore uses Umami, a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not sell or share data with third parties. It records aggregate usage (page views, referrers, rough device type) without collecting personally identifiable information.

Cookies

Shore sets one httpOnly device-token cookie. It is used only to apply per-device rate limits on uploads and processing, so the free tier stays fair to everyone. It contains no personal information and is never used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Your video

Uploaded video is used only to run the requested processing. Depending on the path you use, that happens entirely in your browser (the file never leaves your device), or on our servers for a short window: the source file and its processed output are deleted automatically after processing completes, and any remaining output expires and is deleted no later than one hour after it is ready. We do not keep a library of your uploads, and we do not use your video to train any model.

No selling of data

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data or uploaded content to any third party, for any purpose.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because uploaded video is not retained beyond the processing window described above, there is typically nothing left to delete shortly after your job completes. To exercise these rights or ask a question, contact us below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
